Whistle Blowing Systems Helps KFTD Prevent Corruption
Whistleblowing is the act of disclosing information about wrongdoing, unethical behavior, or illegal activities within an organization to individuals or entities that have the authority to take corrective action. This system is enforced to prevent Corruption that potentially occurs in KFTD.
Employees or third parties who are aware of violations or possible criminal activity or indications of gratification practices carried out by one of the employees can report it via the whistleblowing (WBS) mechanism. This system is safe because every report and the identity of the reporter will be kept confidential.
Every report will then be reviewed following the appropriate follow-up mechanism. The reports that have been reviewed and processed are then submitted and reported to the President Director for further processing.
The President Director will decide that the report on the alleged gratification practices through the WBS mechanism be submitted to the Ad-Hoc Team for immediate follow-up. The team will review the case using a checklist to collect the relevant data needed and carry out a complete analysis.
Once the analysis is complete, the Ad-Hoc team will provide recommendations along with files of the alleged gratification practices to the President Director. Finally, the President Director will follow up following the company regulations.
The whistleblowing guideline must be followed by all KFTD personnel and they have reporting obligations if a case of gratification occurs. Violating the guidelines will be subject to sanctions. Therefore, employees are encouraged to report any gratification practice to make sure that Kimia Farma Trading & Distribution is free from Corruption.
Reporting these activities means protecting the employee themselves and their families from the possibility of being charged with the crime of bribery. It also helps KFTD enforce good corporate governance for better company operations.
